I watched a few tutorials on youtube and gave it a whirl. Its supposed to be Xeraki's face, but I messed up alot xD give me a break it was my first try!

also I was getting frustrated with how much I messed up and I didnt bother to go any further with it xD so I'm not going to be finishing this piece, sorry! c:

you're doing an awesome job!! I am extremely impressed because I have never been able to make anything past a sphere in a 3D modeling program and I am being completely honest. All techniques totally fly past my head on that.

<3 personally, i think you should try Zbrush. It's not really 3D modeling as much as it is 3d. . sculpting. Drawing on the surface will add clay and you can gouge it away D: You can pull it and push it and pinch it. it's badass. you even work with substances that have different reflection and shading properties. The default is teracotta [link]

I /think/ this program has that too...I just havent figured it out yet! x'D Its all so confusing. lol. I think this program was actually used in the movie Boltz..but i'm not sure about that. I do know you can animate stuff in it :o which is interesting...knowing me i'll make it blow up though lol!

is Zbrush free? o3o I thought you had to buy it. Anywho I've heard alot of good things about it :0 did you do that picture? thats epic.

Zbrush is free if you. . . have utorrent ;;

i really want to legit buy the most recent version though, I just need to save up the money. C: it looks super awesome.

Yeah I did that picture. :D I wish I hadn't done it so halfassedly (i was only making something to test coloring on since I couldn't figure out how to color. supposedly there's supposed to be a super special way using projection master, but i just. . . colored onto it directly)

i wish i had spent more time on it so i wouldn't have rushed and used the same texture on the whole thing "i mean i coulda used a different texture on the horns or something.

i dont use it much, so i'm not good at it. :'<

How come everyone but me can actually make something in blender? D:

I've got Inventor Pro, but need to Re-Download a 64 bit version....

So far, your doing great. I've never used that system myself, but I do understand how 3D programs work, to a degree. You'll eventually want to redesign that head. As it is, you won't be able to make the lower jaw move freely, unless you don't plan on using her mouth at all. The real challenge will be in making the body, especially the wings. When I was working on mine, I forgot to create the wing membranes as I went, so now it's all messed up.

Yeah..that one was mostly just me trying to figure out how to model in it. I've already started on another one where the mouth should be able to move if i animate it c: I'm still trying to figure things out though! thanks for the comment c:
